Everything you need to join ranked 5v5 matches, and the rules that keep them fun for everyone.

Rules

We want every match and every chat to be fair and enjoyable. These apply in game and on Discord.

1Respect everyone
Banter and disagreements are part of the game. Harassment, abuse, discrimination, doxxing, or constant and severe negativity towards others are not.
2Keep it clean
Casual swearing is fine. Excessive swearing and offensive, insulting, obscene or vulgar talk is not.
3Play fair
Standard tricks and boosts are allowed. Flash bugs, cheats, hacks, scripts and ghosting are banned, including passing on or receiving the other team's positions or plans.
4Bring the right setup
Run the game with good settings and no lag. A headset and microphone are a must: no speakers, no muted sound and no silent players.
5Play as a team
Follow your team leader's calls, buy and drop the right gear at the right time, and play the objective. Keep comms short and accurate. Griefing, trolling, baiting, team killing, wasting gear, spamming chat or voice, and rage-quitting are not tolerated.
6Help newer players
Give constructive feedback that helps people improve. Don't flame or talk down to anyone.

If a rule is broken

Depending on how serious it is, an admin will step in with a warning, a kick or a ban, and there's always a fair chance to turn things around.

How to play

Sign up (once)

1Join our Discord and type /link in any channel. The ranked bot sends you a private message with your linking code.
2Join the match server at 139.99.237.23:27015 and type link CODE in the console, using your own code. The bot confirms on Discord once your Steam account is linked.
!The name you have in game when you link becomes your ranked name, and you can only change it once. Pick it carefully.

Play a match

1Type /r in game chat to ready up and join the queue (!r, .r and /ready work too). Type it again, or leave the server, to drop out before the match starts.
2When 10 players are ready, vote for the map. An admin changes to the winning map.
3The bot posts balanced teams on Discord and in the game console. Join your team.
4A knife round decides who picks the starting side, Terrorist or Counter-Terrorist.
5The admin restarts three times and the match goes live.
6When it ends, the final score and everyone's Elo changes are posted on Discord and appear here under Matches.

Check your stats any time on your player page or the leaderboard, or use /mystats and /ladder on Discord.

Mouse not moving?

On some PCs m_rawinput 1 stops the mouse working. If that happens, set it to m_rawinput 0 and add these launch options instead (Steam Library › right-click Counter-Strike › Properties › Launch options). Also untick "Enhance pointer precision" in Windows mouse settings.
